Lee Jong Suk and Cha Eun Woo are reportedly starring in a film together

Lee Jong Suk and Cha Eunwoo are reportedly starring in a film together.

According to Soompi, the two actors have been cast in a film called “Decibel” (literal title) which is about a group of people racing to stop a terrorism attack in the form of a sound bomb planted in the heart of the city.

The report said Lee Jong Suk will play “a Navy captain who is fiercely loyal to the crew of his submarine,” while Cha Eun Woo will play “a young but steadfast sailor in the Navy who is in charge of sonar detection.”

The cast also includes Kim Rae Won, Jung Sang Hoon, Park Byung Wun, Lee Sang Hee and Jo Dal Hwan.

According to Soompi, “Decibel” already began filming on April 20.

Lee Jong Suk, who starred in dramas like “While You Were Sleeping,” “I Can Hear Your Voice,” and “W,” recently completed his mandatory military service.

Cha Eun Woo, on the other hand, starred in the dramas “My ID Is Gangnam Beauty,” “Rookie Historian Goo Hae Ryung,” and most recently “True Beauty.”

He is a member of the K-Pop group ASTRO, who just made their comeback with their second full-length album “All Yours” earlier this month. — Margaret Claire Layug/LA, GMA News
