‘My Love from the Star' star Shin Sung Rok tests positive for COVID-19 — report

Shin Sung Rok, who starred in the Korean dramas “My Love From the Star” and “Kairos,” has reportedly tested positive for COVID-19.

According to Soompi, the actor and singer's agency HB Entertainment confirmed on April 28 that he tested positive and was currently being treated at a facility.

Sung Rok initially tested negative on April 24, but was tested again after feeling a change in his medical condition while self-quarantining.

Sung Rok recently appeared as a guest on the web show “Serizabeth” to promote his new musical “Dracula.”

He was with his co-star, Son Jun Ho, who was earlier reported to have tested positive for COVID-19.

Sung Rok is currently also a fixed member of the weekly television show “Masters in the House” where he appears alongside Lee Seung Gi, Cha Eun Woo, Yang Se Hyung and Kim Dong Hyun. — Margaret Claire Layug/LA, GMA News
