f(x) members mark 12th debut anniversary with touching tributes
Can you believe it’s been 12 years since the f(x) made their debut?
The members of the K-Pop girl group — Krystal, Amber, Victoria and Luna — marked their anniversary by sharing touching tributes on their individual Instagram accounts.
Krystal Jung posted a set of old photos from the group’s 2011 studio album “Pinocchio,” while Victoria Song shared the album cover for “Red Light,” and wrote “Happy 12th anniversary” in English, Korean, and Chinese.
Luna shared a magazine shoot and thanked her co-members and their fans (called MeU) for supporting them for 12 years.
Amber, on the other hand, posted an old backstage photo with her bandmates, including their fifth member Sulli who passed away in 2019.
“Happy 12th to f(x)!!! Thank you MeU for your never-ending support and for all the wonderful memories,” Amber wrote.
“Still don’t know what’s going on in this photo but we still look good af haha Vic, Luna, Sulli, Krystal miss you guys,” she added.
f(x), who debuted in 2009 under SM Entertainment, are known for their many hits like “Chu,” “Hot Summer,” “Red Light” and more.
Sulli, whose real name is Choi Jin Ri, was reportedly found dead inside her home in October 2019.
Her death marked one of the saddest days of K-Pop history. — Margaret Claire Layug/LA, GMA News
