Olivia Rodrigo just bagged three major prizes at the 2021 MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs).
The 18-year-old Fil-Am popstar was named “Best New Artist” at the live ceremony held at the Barclay Centre in Brooklyn on September 12.
Olivia also won “Song of the Year” and “Push Performance of the Year” with her record-breaking single “Driver's License.”
Not only that, Olivia literally smashed her first-ever VMAs performance with her hit single “Good 4 U.”
Olivia’s performance caused quite the buzz online, with thousands of netizens talking about her explosive VMAs debut.
The Fil-Am singer-songwriter, who arrived at the red carpet in a pink Versace creation, was also nominated for “Artist of the Year” and “Best Pop Video.”
“I just feel so grateful that I get to write music and make stuff that I love and call it my job,” Olivia said in her thank you speech.
