Tom Holland is set to portray legendary actor and singer Fred Astaire in an upcoming biopic.

According to a Variety report on Sunday, Tom confirmed during an event promoting "Spider-Man: No Way Home" that he will be acting as Astaire for an upcoming project with Sony.

"The script came in a week ago. I haven't read it yet; they haven't given it to me," Tom told reporters.

He also said that Oscar-nominated producer Amy Pascal already had the script.

"She FaceTimed me earlier. I was in the bath. And we had a lovely FaceTime, but I will be playing Fred Astaire," he said.

Astaire, known as one of the greatest music dancers, had a seven-decade career where he starred in more than 30 film musicals, including "Swing Time," "The Gay Divorcee," and "Top Hat."
