Jimin of BTS assures he's 'recovering well' after surgery, COVID-19 diagnosis

BTS member Jimin has taken to Weverse to assure fans that he's recovering well after he underwent surgery for acute appendicitis and got diagnosed with COVID-19.

"I'm sorry for [causing] concern, though I think I will be able to leave the hospital soon," his translated post said.

The Korean singer-dancer added that he was making sure to eat three times a day.

"I'll recover quickly and go," he said.

BigHit Music recently announced that Jimin suffered from a sudden abdominal pain and a mild sore throat on Sunday, and underwent surgery for acute appendicitis the following day. He also tested positive for COVID-19.
