SEVENTEEN's Hoshi diagnosed with COVID-19

SEVENTEEN member Hoshi has been diagnosed with COVID-19.

In a Weverse statement, Pledis Entertainment said Hoshi suffered from sore throat and cough on Wednesday. He tested positive for COVID-19 on Thursday.

The K-pop idol is currently undergoing self-treatment at home, and will not be able to participate in SEVENTEEN's activities for a while.

Hoshi is the latest SEVENTEEN member to get diagnosed with COVID-19 after Wonwoo and Vernon.

The rest of the group's members did self-test kits and results came back negative, Pledis said.

"We will continue to provide support for the rapid recovery of Hoshi, placing our highest priority on the health and safety of our artists," they added. —JCB, GMA News
