Kelly Clarkson to pay $1.3M to ex-husband Brandon Blackstock after divorce settlement

After almost two years of court battle, American Idol winner Kelly Clarkson and former husband Brandon Blackstock have finally reached a divorce settlement.

According to a report from People.com, Kelly, 39, will provide Brandon $115,000 every month as spousal support until January 2024 per their agreement.

Although Kelly has primary custody of their kids River and Remington, Brandon, 45, is also set to receive $45,600 a month as child support to ensure their children live comfortably during their stay with him.

The ex-couple also owns a ranch in Montana. Kelly was granted complete ownership of the property, so Brandon has to pay $12,500 for rent until June 2022 while he is there.

In total, Brandon is set to receive a lump sum of $1.3 million from Kelly as part of the settlement.

After seven years of marriage, Kelly and Brandon decided to get divorced in June 2020.
