Zoe Saldana is all praises for Philippine adobo: 'It's an experience of its own'

Another international actress has been added to the growing list of foreigners loving Philippine adobo.

In an interview with Nelson Canlas for "24 Oras Weekend" Sunday, Zoe Saldana revealed that adobo is mainly the reason why she would want to visit the Philippines soon.

"I grew up in New York. I went to school with a lot of Filipino-Americans. I have eaten Filipino food and I love it," she said. "The adobo is like my thing."

"I remember always learning about adobo and I’m like, 'It's just like Latino adobo and it's slightly similar, but it's completely different. It's an experience of its own and it's wonderful," she added.

The "Guardians of the Galaxy" and "The Adam Project" actress is just one of many Hollywood stars who had been open about their love for adobo, such as Vanessa Hudgens and Selena Gomez.
