Jim Carrey says he's retiring from acting: 'I've done enough'
Jim Carrey just made a stunning announcement: he's retiring from acting.
In an interview with Access Hollywood during which he was asked about a potential role, he stated, "“Well, I’m retiring."
Interviewer Kit Hoover asked if he was serious and he replied, "Yeah, probably. I’m being fairly serious."
"It depends. If the angels bring some sort of script that’s written in gold ink that says to me that it’s going to be really important for people to see, I might continue down the road, but I’m taking a break," he added.

"I have enough. I've done enough. I am enough," he said.
At 60, Carrey has a lot of accolades in his name. He has two Golden Globe awards for best actor, and a handful of trophies from the MTV Movie & TV Awards, Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards, and People's Choice Awards.
