Jeremy Renner in better spirits following snow plowing accident
Jeremy Renner seems to be doing a bit better!
The "Hawkeye" actor shared a video on Twitter showing himself receiving a scalp massage from his family members. Although he is still bruised and wearing an oxygen mask in the intensive care unit (ICU), he is smiling. He is also able to speak.
"A 'not no great' ICU DAY, turned to amazing spa day with my sis and mama," he wrote on his tweet. "Thank you sooooo much."
According to Washoe County Sheriff Darin Balaam, Renner was run over by a pistenbully that weighed 14,000 pounds.
Renner used this tractor to pull out his car after some heavy snow. After succeeding in this, he got out of the pistenbully to speak to a family member.
"At this point, it's observed that the pistenbully started to roll," Balaam said.
"In an effort to stop the rolling pistenbully, Mr Renner attempts to get back into the driver's seat of the pistenbully. Based on our investigation, it's at this point that Mr Renner is run over by the pistenbully," he added.
In an earlier update, Renner said he was "too messed up" to type but still posted on Instagram to send love for all the well-wishes and words of support.
