Jeremy Renner says he has 30 broken bones after snow plow accident
Jeremy Renner is now back home following an accident with a snow plow on New Year's Day.
The "Avengers" star gave an update on social media, sharing that he has 30 broken bones and posted a photo of him starting physical therapy.
The accident left him with blunt chest trauma and orthopedic injuries that put him in the hospital for weeks.
"I want to thank everyone for their messages and thoughtfulness for my family and I. Much love and appreciation to you all," he said on Twitter.
"These 30 plus broken bones will mend, grow stronger, just like the love and bond with family and friends deepens. Love and blessings to you all," he added.

Variety reported that Renner's snow plow was a PistenBully or Sno-Cat that weighed at least 14,330 pounds. After reportedly using the machine to help a family member get a car out of the snow, the snow plow started rolling back toward Renner once he was off it and had his back to it.
His "Avengers" co-star Chris Evans replied to Renner's tweet, sending him love and asking, "Has anyone even checked on the snowcat?"
Renner replied to Evans, "I did check on the snow cat, she needs fuel," with winking and laughing emoticons.
Love you brother…. I did check on the snow cat , she needs fuel. ???????? https://t.co/xOOCNcNHNC

He also recently tweeted that he was excited to watch the first episode of season 2 of his series, "Mayor of Kingstown."
