Jang Ki Yong has finished his military service, reveals renewed contract with YG

Jang Ki Yong has completed his mandatory military service in Korea.

According to a report on Soompi, Jang Ki Yong also renewed his contract with YG Entertainment before enlisting in the military.

He served one year and six months as a soldier on active duty.

"Thank you for waiting for me for a long time," he said, adding, "I will work to greet you soon with a great production."

The actor rose to fame with "Search: WWW" and is known for his roles in "Now We are Breaking Up," "My Roomate is a Gumiho," and more.

As required by law, South Korean men under the age of 30 must complete approximately two years of military service.
