'How I Met Your Mother' co-stars Josh Radnor and Alyson Hannigan reunite

"How I Met Your Mother" co-stars Josh Radnor and Alyson Hannigan had a mini reunion over lunch this week.

"Well look who I had lunch with today!!" Josh began as he posted a photo with Alyson on Instagram.

"It was delightful," he added, saying it was "so sweet to reconnect and drop in and talk about all the things. And her tremendous sweater just added to the magnificence."

Alyson was wearing a dark blue sweater with a mix of bright blue and lilac flora and fauna.

"Love this gal forever," he wrote.

Some of their other castmates chimed in in the comments section.

Kyle Maclachlan, who played The Captain, wrote, "Ahoy! The Captain approves this meeting!"

Ashley Williams, who played one of Josh's love interest, commented, "Woohooo!! Hi loves!"

"How I Met Your Mother" aired for nine seasons and told the story of a father, played by Josh, who recounted to his children how he met their mother.

The story was told in flashbacks of his dating life and shenanigans with his group of friends, which included Alyson.

In real life, as of November 2022, Josh has been reportedly dating a special girl, though he didn't name her.
