RM of BTS celebrates 30th birthday in military
RM of BTS turned 30 on Thursday, and he spent his special day with his military brothers.
The BTS leader and rapper shared an Instagram post showing him surrounded by his fellow troops at what appears to be a restaurant.
In his Instagram Stories, RM posed in his military uniform with posters of him and balloons spelling out his name in the background. He also posted a selfie with his military brothers at a café.
Another photo set shows snippets of his current life looks like.
The first slide features the child of BTS stylist Kim Youngjin, followed by a snap of RM’s photobooth pictures with a frame that said “Happy RM Day,” plus some selfies of him in a mask, a photo of his military uniform, and a scene from “Neva Play,” Megan Thee Stallion’s latest single which features him.
Aside from the IG posts, RM wrote a letter for ARMYs on Weverse. He thanked the fans for the love and support on his birthday, and said he is halfway through mandatory military service.
RM released his second solo album “Right Place, Wrong Person” last May. It includes the songs, “Come back to me,” “LOST!” and “Groin.”
His solo documentary film, “RM: Right People, Wrong Place,” will premiere at this year’s Busan International Film Festival.
BTS is currently on a hiatus as the members undergo their mandatory military service and are set to reconvene as a group in 2025. Jin is the first member to be discharged.
