After Barbie Hsu's death, Jerry Yan posts heartfelt tribute
Following Barbie Hsu's sudden death, her “Meteor Garden” co-star Jerry Yan shared a heartfelt tribute on Weibo.
In his post, the Taiwanese actor expressed his gratitude for meeting Barbie.
“Thankful for meeting you. In your carefree, childlike years, you always say, treat every day as your last. Have a great time. I hope you walk slowly this time. From now on, in another world, there will be no worries and the years will be peaceful,” Jerry wrote, as translated into English by Google.
Jerry played the role of the infamous F4 leader Dao Ming Si in the hit Taiwanese drama “Meteor Garden” in 2001. He was the love interest of Barbie’s character Shan Cai.
Jerry was also a member of the Taiwanese boy band F4, which he, Vic Chou, Ken Chu, and Vanness Wu formed following the success of "Meteor Garden."
Earlier, Ken and actress Rainie Yang who played Barbie’s best friend in the series posted individual tributes to the late star.
Barbie passed away at the age of 48 due to pneumonia. The news was confirmed by her family and her agent through South China Morning Post and Focus Taiwan, Monday.
