The Script goes busking in Quezon City: 'Unreal'
The Script made sure to serenade their Filipino fans even outside the Araneta Coliseum.
In a video posted on their Facebook page, vocalist Danny O'Donoghue can be seen sitting on top of a car with an acoustic guitar outside a mall in Quezon City. He played one of the band’s top songs, “The Man Who Can’t Be Moved,” while a crowd gathered to watch and sing along with him.
While the car was driving away, Danny also high-fived and waved to fans.
“Manila, busking in the streets with you singing every word back was unreal,” the Irish rock band said on Facebook.
“Big love to everyone who showed up, what a night!”
The Script had two sold-out shows at the Araneta Coliseum on February 11 and 12.
“Philippines! The crowd, the vibe, the energy—nothing beats this place,” the band said after the concerts.
The Script has had concerts in Manila several times. They were last in the country in September 2022 for their Greatest Hits Tour.
The band currently consists of vocalist Danny, drummer Glen Power, bassist Benjamin Sargent, and guitarist Ben Weaver.
Guitarist Mark Sheehan was part of the band until his death in 2023.
