Oscars 2025: Full list of winners at the 97th Academy Awards

The 97th Academy Awards, a.k.a. the Oscars 2025, has named the best of the best in cinema – both on screen and behind it – in an exclusive awarding ceremony held at the Dolby Theatre at Ovation Hollywood in Los Angeles, California.
“Anora” bagged the most awards: Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actress in a Leading Role, Best Film Editing, and Best Original Screenplay.

Best Actor in a Supporting Role
Kieran Culkin, “A Real Pain”
This is Kieran Culkin’s first Oscar win and nomination.
Best Costume Design
“Wicked”
This is Paul Tazewell’s first Oscar win and second nomination, following “West Side Story.” Paul has become the first person of color to win the Best Costume Design award at the Oscars.
Best Makeup and Hairstyling
“The Substance”
This is Pierre-Oliver Persin, Stephanie Guillon, and Marilyne Scarselli’s the first Oscar win and nomination.
Best Original Score
“The Brutalist”
This is Daniel Bloomberg’s first Oscar win and nomination.
Best Live Action Short Film
“I’m Not a Robot”
This is Victoria Warmerdam and Trent’s first Oscar win and nomination.
Best Animated Short Film
“In the Shadow of the Cypress”
This is Shirin Sohani and Hossein Molayemi’s first Oscar win and nomination.
Best Adapted Screenplay
“Conclave”
This is Peter Straughan’s first Oscar win and second nomination, following “Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy.”
Best Original Screenplay
“Anora”
This is Sean Baker’s first Oscar win.

This is Gints Zilbalodis, Mat?ss Kaža, Ron Dyens, and Gregory Zalcman’s first Oscar win and nomination.
Best Production Design
“Wicked”
This is the first Oscar win for seven-time nominee Nathan Crowley and three-time nominee Lee Sendales.
Best Film Editing
“Anora”
This is Sean Baker’s second Oscar win, following the Best Screenplay recognition also for “Anora.”
Best Sound
“Dune: Part Two”
This is the first Oscar win and nomination for Gareth John, the fifth and ninth nomination for Richard King, the second win and fourth nomination for Ron Bartlett, and third win and eleventh nomination for Doug Hemphill.
Best Visual Effects
“Dune: Part Two”
This is the first Oscar win for first-time nominees Steven James and Rhys Salcombe, the third win and third nomination for Gerd Nefzer, and the fourth win and fourth nomination for Paul Lambert.
