'Snow White:' Rachel Zegler performs film's first single 'Waiting on a Wish'

Rachel Zegler, the lead star of Disney's "Snow White," performs "Waiting on a Wish," the first single from the live action film's original soundtrack.

The song tackles the dilemma of wanting to change but somehow feeling stuck.

Written by Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony (EGOT) winners Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, "Waiting on a Wish" is now streaming on Amazon, Apple Music, and Spotify. The rest of the original soundtrack will be released on March 14.

In December, Disney unveiled the official trailer for "Snow White."

The trailer opens with Snow White (Rachel) in the castle during a confrontation scene between her and the Evil Queen (Gal Gadot).  

Directed by Marc Webb, the filmmaker behind "The Amazing Spider-Man" and "500 Days of Summer," "Snow White" is an adaptation of Walt Disney's 1937 animated film "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs," based on the 19th-century fairytale of the same name by the Brothers Grimm.

"Snow White" will be shown in cinemas starting on March 19.
