Seo Yea Ji denies relationship Kim Soo Hyun

Seo Yea Ji has addressed the rumors linking her with Kim Soo Hyun. 

According to multiple reports, the actress denied dating Soo Hyun through a post she made in her official fan cafe. 

“As a human being, I also feel overwhelmed, exhausted, fed up, sad and suffocated. I endure and endure…I even replied to this comment without realizing it and then deleted it," Yea Ji posted on her online fan community Thursday.

"Can we just… stop now? I have no connection to him or his cousin," she continued, adding, "I don’t even know why I have to clarify this."

She also replied to a netizen asking whether she had an affair with Soo Hyun while he was in a relationship, writing "Stop. Please, just stop. It’s exhausting to endure this. I have not met the person you are talking about, nor his cousin. Stop it. It’s suffocating.” 

Yea Ji was previously an actress under Gold Medalist, the agency Kim Soo Hyun and his cousin co-founded.

In 2021, Yea Ji and Soo Hyun were caught in dating rumors after starring in the hit K-drama “It's Okay to Not Be Okay.” 

Kim Soo Hyun is currently the subject of controversy thanks to a March 10 broadcast by the YouTube channel HoverLab Inc. 

The channel alleged that the actor and YouTuber Lee Jin Ho harassed the late actress Kim Sae Ron.

In a statement Wednesday, Gold Medalist called the claims of HoverLab Inc. "malicious" and "entirely false." They also said they are reviewing the "strong possible legal actions" against HoverLab Inc. for the disinformation.

The company previously denied dating rumors in 2024, which came after Kim Sae Ron posted an old photo of her and Kim Soo Hyun on Instagram Stories. — Jade Veronique Yap/LA, GMA Integrated News
