'The Bear' star Liza Colón-Zayas reportedly cast in 'Spider-Man: Brand New Day'

Liza Colón-Zayas is reportedly joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe!

According to Deadline, Liza, who plays fan favorite character Tina Marrero in "The Bear," has been cast in "Spider-Man: Brand New Day," the fourth installment in Sony and Marvel's film series.

No further details about her role has been revealed.

Liza will join lead star Tom Holland, who plays Peter Parker, and Zendaya and Jacob Batalon, who play MJ and Ned.

It was previously reported that "Stranger Things" star Sadie Sink has also been cast.

Liza made history at the Emmy Awards 2024 as the first Latina to be named Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for her performance in "The Bear."

The last Spider-Man film was 2021 blockbuster movie "Spider-Man: No Way Home."
