BTS' Jungkook and Jimin go live after military discharge, get warm welcome from J-Hope and staff
Jimin and Jungkook of BTS were given the sweetest welcome back on Wednesday following the completion of their mandatory military service.
The members first greeted the BTS ARMY with a Weverse Live session, in a room decorated with large balloons. During the broadcast, they said they missed fans and thanked them for waiting.
Meanwhile, in J-Hope’s Instagram Story, Jimin and Jungkook could be seen being welcomed by staff walking around with flashlights. The pair received bouquets.
Jimin and Jungkook completed their service a day after their fellow members, RM and V. Suga is also set to complete his service this month.
The members’ discharge comes right in time for Festa, BTS' debut anniversary celebrations, happening this month until June 13.
BTS started enlisting in the military in 2022, starting with eldest member Jin, with J-Hope following months later. The two were discharged in 2024.
During their group hiatus, the members have been focusing on their solo careers.
