'Modern Family' star Aubrey Anderson-Emmons comes out as bisexual
Aubrey Anderson-Emmons just came out, and she did it in a "Modern Family" way!
Aubrey, best known for portraying Lily on the American sitcom, took to TikTok to dub one of her character's iconic lines and used that to come out as part of the LGBT+ community.
In one scene where Gloria (Sofia Vergara) told Lily she is Vietnamese, she answered back, "No, I'm not. I'm gay! I'm gay!"
"People keep joking about me being gay when I literally am (I'm bi)," Aubrey wrote in her video.
"Hehe happy pride month and to all a good night," Aubrey added in her caption.
Her coming out video has over 900,000 views and over 200,000 likes and hundreds of comments as of this writing.
"Modern Family" aired from 2009 to 2020. It followed three diverse and related families on their hilarious adventures.
Aubrey played Lily, the adopted Vietnamese daughter of Mitchell Pritchett and Cameron Tucker. After "Modern Family," she is now delving into a music career.
