Woman arrested for trespassing at BTS member Jungkook’s home

Woman arrested for trespassing BTS member Jungkook’s home

A woman was arrested by South Korean police after entering the home parking lot of BTS member Jungkook, according to South Korean media outlets.

According to reports by Yonhap and The Korea Herald, the woman, a South Korean national in her 40s, entered Jungkook's home in Yongsan, Seoul, at 11:20 p.m. on Saturday.

The woman allegedly snuck into the underground parking lot of Jungkook’s building by following a vehicle. She was spotted on surveillance cameras by a security guard, who immediately notified Yongsan Police.

When confronted, the woman claimed she was “visiting a friend’s home.”

The police are still investigating to determine the suspect's motives.

This incident is the second trespassing case at Jungkook’s residence in recent months. In June, a Chinese woman in her 30s allegedly tried to enter the K-pop star's property on the same day he completed his military service. The woman was arrested by authorities, and has now been transferred to prosecution.

Jungkook and fellow BTS member Jimin was discharged in June after serving in the South Korean military for almost two years.

Now that all of their members are back from the military, BTS is gearing up to release a new album and kick off a world tour in 2026.
