Blake Lively reflects on 'Gossip Girl' days: 'This show was my college'

Blake Lively looks back on her "Gossip Girl" days as the show marks its 18th anniversary.

On Instagram, Blake shared behind-the-scenes photos with the cast, including Penn Badgley, Leighton Meester, Ed Westwick, Chace Crawford, and other guest stars throughout the run of the 2007 American teen drama series.

"This show was my college," the actress wrote. "It was my education, my social life, my hard work, my late nights and early mornings, my teacher."

"New York City and Silvercup Studios (& sometimes Paris) were my campus for six years," she added.

"Gossip Girl" follows a group of privileged teens who live in the Upper East Side of New York. It ran from 2007 to 2012 and had six seasons.

In 2021, HBO Max rebooted the show with a new cast but canceled it after two seasons.
