Jisoo to Zayn Malik after 'Eyes Closed' release: ‘Working with you has been truly special’
Jisoo is feeling the love after her collaboration with Zayn Malik, “Eyes Closed,” finally came out on Friday.
On Instagram, the Blackpink member shared some behind-the-scenes shots from their music video shoot.
She also revealed that Zayn gave her flowers to celebrate the song's release. Zayn said in the note, “Jisoo, it’s here. Happy release day! Big love, Zayn.”
“I hope this song reaches many hearts,” Jisoo said in her caption.
“Let’s never forget that everything we’ve been through was for the future,” she added.
Jisoo also has a message for Zayn, who said that “working with you has been truly special.”
“I’m so grateful for your kindness and your incredible voice,” Jisoo said.
News of Jisoo and Zayn's collaboration swept social media on Wednesday.
Jisoo released her debut solo EP, "Amortage," in February. It includes the songs "Earthquake," "Your Love," "Tears," and "Hugs & Kisses."
Jisoo was in Manila last March for a solo fan meet.
Meanwhile, Zayn released the album “Room Under the Stairs” in 2024.
The “Pillowtalk” hitmaker is set to reunite with his fellow One Direction member Louis Tomlinson for a travel docuseries.
