Park Bom’s agency releases statement on alleged lawsuit against YG Entertainment
Park Bom’s agency, D Nation, has released a statement on Instagram following the 2NE1 member saying she will file a lawsuit against her former agency, YG Entertainment, due to alleged unpaid settlements.
In the statement published by Soompi, D Nation said the Park Bom's allegations were not true.
“All settlements related to Park Bom’s 2NE1 activities have already been completed, and there is no record that the complaint uploaded to social media was ever filed,” D Nation said.
They added Park Bom “has halted all activities and is focusing on treatment and recovery.”
According to D Nation, they are doing what they can to help Park Bom “regain her health.”
The clarification from D Nation comes at the heels of a now-deleted Instagram post of Park Bom where she posted a photo of a complaint titled, “Complainant: Park Bom, Accused: Yang Hyun Suk” or the founder of YG Entertainment.
According to Soompi, Park Bom captioned her post as: “Park Bom hates YG. Dear beloved citizens who use the internet, please look thoroughly into what YG did to Park Bom. Thank you.”
In her complaint, Park Bom alleged that “The accused failed to duly pay the profits generated from all activities in which the complainant participated including music releases, concerts, broadcasts, advertisements, events, lyric writing, and composing,” and claimed unpaid settlements of “1002003004006007001000034 ‘64272e trillion won.”
Park Bom halted her activities with 2NE1 in August.
In February, Lee Min Ho denied his involvement with Park Bom, after she posted Instagram photos calling him “my husband.”
2NE1—composed of Park Bom, CL, Sandara Park, and Minzy—had a two-night concert in Manila in 2024.
