Park Bom's agency says she is in a 'very emotionally unstable state'
Park Bom’s agency, D-Nation Entertainment, has released a statement to give an update on her health.
In a statement translated and published by Soompi, the agency first apologized for "causing concern" due to the 2NE1 member's recent social media post.
They thanked everyone who sent their support amid Park Bom's struggles.
“Park Bom is currently in a very emotionally unstable state and has difficulty communicating, so she is in urgent need of treatment and rest for recovery,” D-Nation said.
Her recent controversial post "has been misinterpreted in ways that differ from the facts, leading to unnecessary misunderstandings," the agency added.
“This situation has caused harm not only to Park Bom herself but also to her family and acquaintances.”
The agency asked for fans to refrain from sharing the post, and the media to refrain from reporting on it.
“Our company will do our utmost to help the artist recover her health as soon as possible and return in a better state,” D-Nation said.
Early this week, Park Bom posted about supposedly suing her former agency, YG Entertainment, due to alleged unpaid settlements.
D-Nation said this was not true.
“All settlements related to Park Bom’s 2NE1 activities have already been completed, and there is no record that the complaint uploaded to social media was ever filed,” D Nation said.
Park Bom halted her activities with 2NE1 in August.
In February, Lee Min Ho denied his involvement with Park Bom, after she posted Instagram photos calling him “my husband.”
