RM of BTS to be the first K-pop artist to speak at APEC CEO Summit Korea 2025

BTS member RM is set to speak at the APEC Ceo Summit Korea 2025!

According to a report by Soompi, RM is scheduled to deliver a keynote speech at the Summit, making him the first K-pop artist to speak at the event.

RM is said to take the stage on the second day of the CEO Summit on Wednesday October 29.

In their program, APEC introduced the K-pop star as “a creative powerhouse and avid art enthusiast.”

“RM is renowned for crafting profound lyrics often inspired by various art forms. His flexible and philosophical approach to music and ability to push creative boundaries with cutting-edge collaborations have led him to work with a diverse range of artists,” it added.

RM was discharged in June after serving in the South Korean military for almost two years. He got discharged alongside his fellow member V. 

Now that all of their members are back from the military, BTS is gearing up to release a new album and kick off a world tour in 2026. — Jade Veronique Yap/LA, GMA Integrated News
