NewJeans' Minji, Hanni, Danielle also return to ADOR following Hyein, Haerin
NewJeans members Minji, Hanni, and Danielle are also resuming activities with ADOR labels, following Hyein and Haerin.
In a statement, as translated by Soompi, the three girls said that they "decided on our return to ADOR after careful discussion."
"This was relayed late as one member is currently in Antarctica, but as ADOR is not responding at the moment, we are inevitably announcing this through a separate statement. We will continue greeting you with sincere music and performances. Thank you," they said.
ADOR said, "We are checking on the truth of Minji, Hanni, and Danielle's intent to return."
Hyein and Haerin were the first to announce their continuation with ADOR following a lengthy lawsuit regarding their exclusive contract.
"After careful consideration with their families and thorough discussions with ADOR, the two members have made the decision to respect the court's ruling and comply with the exclusive contract," ADOR said in a statement posted on X.
"ADOR will do its utmost to ensure that Hyein and Haerin can continue their entertainment activities smoothly," it added.
The agency also asked the fans' support to avoid any speculation regarding the NewJeans members.
The K-pop group NewJeans drew worldwide buzz over the past few year after lodging a lengthy legal battle with ADOR and its record company HYBE, regarding their seven-year contract.
In November 2024, the group announced they had terminated their contracts after ADOR did not comply with their initial request to reinstate Former ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin.
Just this October, the Seoul court had determined that the exclusive contract will be upheld in favor of ADOR.
NewJeans initially said they will file an appeal to overturn the decision, saying that it was impossible to accept and return to the company.
