'Wicked' star Cynthia Erivo recreates viral meme, shares story behind it

You might have seen the new meme of Cynthia Erivo making rounds online recently, showing her shocked and in disbelief.

In an interview on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," Cynthia said that she's aware that she went viral again and joked, "I've really made it."

The "Wicked" star told host Jimmy Fallon that a year ago, at the first film's premiere in London, she lost her hat.

"We searched for it, we just couldn't find it anywhere," she said. "We've lost it, devastated, nevermind."

Recently, in Paris, Cynthia attended an event, and fans were outside to greet her.

"One girl goes, that hat you wore in London, well I have it," Cynthia recalled.

This prompted Cynthia to react the way she did.

The actress and singer asked for the hat back, but the fan didn't have it with her at the moment, and took the opportunity to ask for tickets to the "Wicked: For Good" premiere.

Cynthia agreed and was reunited with her hat.

This isn't the first time that Cynthia has become a viral meme on the internet.

She is also known for "the concept" meme where she can be seen tapping on her head.

Wicked: For Good,” the second act of “Wicked,” premiered in Philippine cinemas on Wednesday.
