Jin of BTS donates over P4 million to charity on his birthday

Jin of BTS celebrated his birthday by paying it forward.

As reported by Soompi, the Busan Namgwang Social Welfare Society confirmed that the K-pop idol donated 100 million won (approximately P4,005,759.41) to support underprivileged children and the youth.

Jin’s donation will go toward scholarship programs for children, as well as a “Self-Reliant Youth Support Program” for those transitioning out of childcare institutions.

In November, BTS’ Jungkook and J-hope joined Jin on stage for his “Run Seokjin Ep. Tour” encore concert in Seoul, South Korea.

Jin dropped his second solo album, “Echo,” in May this year.

BTS plans on making a huge comeback in 2026, with a new album and a tour.

After getting discharged from the military, the seven members spent time in Los Angeles, and delighted fans with photos of their recording sessions in the studio and their hangouts.
