Chris Evans is returning as Captain America in 'Avengers: Doomsday' –report
It looks like Chris Evans is returning to the Marvel Cinematic Universe!
According to a report by Variety, a teaser trailer for “Avengers: Doomsday” was shown during screenings of “Avatar: Fire and Ash.”
In the teaser, Chris’ character Steve Rogers rides his motorcycle up to a quaint home. He then holds and looks proudly at a newborn baby, presumably his child. Steve also brings out his Captain America costume and stares at it.
The teaser ends with the text, “Steve Rogers will return for ‘Avengers: Doomsday.'”
Chris last appeared as Captain America in “Avengers: Endgame” in 2019, after the heroes saved the world from villain Thanos.
The shield and Captain America title was passed on to Sam Wilson a.k.a. the Falcon, played by Anthony Mackie.
"Avengers: Doomsday" has gathered a slew of Marvel characters for a packed cast, with Robert Downey Jr. playing Doctor Doom.
