Chris Evans is officially appearing in ‘Avengers: Doomsday’
It’s official! Chris Evans is returning to the Marvel Cinematic Universe!
In a teaser for “Avengers: Doomsday,” Chris as Steve Rogers is seen riding his motorcycle to a quaint town. He enters a house, and takes out his Captain America costume.
Later on, he is revealed to be carrying and looking lovingly at a baby, presumably his child.
“Steve Rogers will return in ‘Avengers: Doomsday,’” a text flashed onscreen before the teaser ended.
According to a previous report, the teaser was shown during screenings of “Avatar: Fire and Ash” in cinemas, fueling rumors of Chris' return.
The actor last appeared as Captain America in “Avengers: Endgame” in 2019, after the heroes saved the world from villain Thanos.
The shield and Captain America title were passed on to Sam Wilson a.k.a. the Falcon, played by Anthony Mackie.
"Avengers: Doomsday" gathers a slew of Marvel characters for a packed cast, with Robert Downey Jr. playing Doctor Doom.
It has wrapped up filming and will premiere on December 18, 2026.
