Big Hit Music releases details about BTS' upcoming 5th album, world tour this 2026
Big Hit Music, BTS' agency, has announced more details about the K-pop group's comeback this March.
According to Big Hit Music via WeVerse on Sunday, BTS' fifth album will be released on March 20, 12 p.m. (Philippine time).
The album, which features 14 tracks, is the group's first album in over three years and shows the trajectory the group plans to take moving forward.
"The members were deeply involved in the creation of the songs, infusing their own thoughts and colors into them while musically expressing the emotions and struggles they have experienced along their journey," the agency said.
Per Big Hit Music, the album is "filled with the music that's most true to BTS."
"The album is their heartfelt way of saying thank you to ARMY, who have been there this whole time."
Pre-orders for the album begin on January 16 at 10 a.m. (Philippine time).
The agency added that BTS' world tour schedule will be announced separately on January 14, 11 p.m. (Philippine time).
"We ask for your continued love and support for BTS as they embark on a fresh start through these new promotional activities. Lastly, we would like to sincerely thank all the ARMY who have waited patiently for so long."
Previously, BTS started the official countdown to their March 2026 comeback by launching a new website, 2026bts.com.
The website was launched after BTS wiped their Instagram page clean.
Their 2026 comeback comes after the members' completion of their mandatory military service in South Korea.
BTS' last release was the anthology album "Proof" in 2022. It includes three new songs: "Yet to Come," "Run BTS," and "For Youth."
