'Tangled' unveils its live-action Rapunzel and Flynn Rider
The upcoming live-action “Tangled” film has found its Rapunzel and Flynn Rider!
The film's official Facebook page announced that Teagan Croft will play Rapunzel, the golden-haired princess stuck in a tower, while Milo Manheim will be Flynn Rider, the not-so-smooth thief who helps her escape and see the world.
Teagan is best known for her role as Rachel Roth or Raven in “Titans.” Meanwhile, Milo is popular for his character as Zed in the Disney film franchise “Zombies.”
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the film will be directed by Michael Gracey, who also directed “The Greatest Showman.”
“Tangled,” the animated musical film, is a retelling of the classic fairytale, “Rapunzel.” It follows Rapunzel (voiced by Mandy Moore), a teenager stuck in her tower who is curious about how lanterns float in the sky on her birthday. Flynn Rider (Zachary Levi), a thief, helps her escape to witness the grand event.
