Blackpink Lisa features in Thailand's tourism campaign teaser video

Lisa of Blackpink featured in Thailand's teaser for its latest tourism campaign.

On YouTube, Amazing Thailand released a 15-second video for its campaign, which shows Lisa in a forest and in a temple at night. She is also heard saying, "What does Thailand feel like?"

The full video is scheduled to be released on January 28 on the social media pages of Amazing Thailand.

Amazing Thailand is a promotional slogan used by the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) to promote the country's vibrant culture, heritage, and attractions. 

In October 2025, the TAT welcomed Lisa as its "Amazing Thailand Ambassador," saying she “represents the charm, wonder, and unique identity of Thailand to travelers around the world.”

Born Lalisa Manobal in Buriram Province, Thailand, the K-pop star grew up in her home country before debuting with Blackpink in 2016. She is one of the few Thai idols in K-pop, alongside GOT7’s BAMBAM.

In 2025, she appeared in “The White Lotus” Season 3 as Mook, with some of the show’s scenes filmed in Thailand.

She is set to star in "TYGO," an upcoming Netflix movie that also stars Don Lee and Lee Jin Uk.

Last year, Lisa dropped her debut solo album “Alter Ego,” which includes the singles “Born Again,” “Moonlit Floor,” and “FUTW.”

Blackpink last visited the Philippines in November 2025 for their “Deadline” world tour.
