Becky Armstrong is the new “Girl from Nowhere!”
Netflix Thailand announced that the Thai-British actress will give new life to Nanno, an extraordinary high school student who transfers to different private schools across Thailand, in "Girl from Nowhere: The Reset."
“If everything is the same, it wouldn’t be called karma,” Netflix wrote in Thai as translated into English by Instagram.
“When the world as it is, it still seems to need a Nanno to come to its senses,” it added.
“Girl From Nowhere: The Reset” will premiere on Netflix on March 7.
According to Bangkok Post, “Girl from Nowhere: The Reset” is not a continuation of the “Girl from Nowhere” series but a standalone story set in a separate timeline with an entirely different cast.
It starred Chicha “Kitty” Amatayakul and premiered in 2018 and 2021.
“Girl from Nowhere” follows an unusual teenage girl named Nanno who turns up at different schools and deals with the injustices taking place within their walls.
Meanwhile, Becky, whose real name is Rebecca Patricia, has starred in various Thai films and series such as “TharnType 2: 7 Years of Love,” and “Long Live Love!” among others.
