'Ordinary' singer Alex Warren explains Grammy performance mishap

Alex Warren took to TikTok to address his now viral performance at the Grammy Awards 2026.

The singer shared the technical difficulties he experienced by using distorted and delayed audio from his hit song “Ordinary.”

“When you’re performing at the Grammys and all you hear is this in your ears,” Alex wrote. “This would only happen to me.”

Clips of Alex’s performance circulated online, where he could be seen constantly adjusting his in-ear monitors, falling out of sync with the audio.

Alex was nominated for Best New Artist, which was won by Olivia Dean.
