Taylor Swift's 'Opalite' MV features star-studded cameos

Taylor Swift has released the official music video for "Opalite," and it's a star-studded one.

In less than 24 hours, the MV, which begins as a satirical advertisement for an "Opalite" spray, has already garnered more than two million YouTube views.

Previously, Taylor revealed on Instagram that the idea for the "Opalite" MV came to her while guesting on "The Graham Norton Show" in October 2025.

"The idea for the 'Opalite' music video crash landed into my imagination when I was doing promo for 'The Life of a Showgirl,'" she said.

She described the UK late-night show as one of her favorites and said she got "ridiculously lucky" with the group she was paired with: Cillian Murphy, Domhnall Gleeson, Greta Lee, Jodie Turner-Smith, and Lewis Capaldi.

"All people whose work I've admired from afar," she said.

During the episode, Taylor recalled how Domhnall making a lighthearted joke about wanting to appear in one of her music videos.

"He's Irish! He was joking! Except that in that moment during the interview, I was instantly struck with an idea," she said.

Just a week later, Domhnall received a script Taylor had written for the "Opalite" video, with him in the starring role.

"I had this thought that it would be wild if all of our fellow guests on the Graham Norton show that night, including Graham himself, could be a part of it too," she said.

"Like a school group project but for adults, and it isn't mandatory," she added.

Fortunately, everyone agreed to take part in the music video.

"Everyone from the show made the effort to time-travel back to the 90's with us and help with this video," she said.

"I had more fun than I ever imagined — made new friends, metaphors, and fashion choices," she added. "It was an absolute thrill to create this story and these characters. Shot on film."

"Opalite" is one of the songs from Taylor's latest album, "The Life of a Showgirl," which came out in 2025. It also includes the songs "The Fate of Ophelia" and "Eldest Daughter."
