Blackpink's Rosé is the first K-pop star to win a BRIT Award

Rosé just made history as the first ever K-pop star to win a BRIT Award, Soompi reported.

The Blackpink member won International Song of the Year for "APT.," her smash hit with Bruno Mars.

"It is such an honor to be receiving this award in front of so many talented and you know admirable musicians here in the UK," Rosé said in her acceptance speech.

She mentioned Bruno, saying that she is receiving the award on behalf of both of them.

"Thank you so much for everything, for being my biggest mentor and best friend. Love you so much," Rosé said.

Rosé also gave a shoutout to Blackpink.

"Jennie, Jisoo, Lisa, love you so much. Thank you for always inspiring me. I love you guys so much," she said.

The BRITs is considered the most high-profile music awards show in the United Kingdom.

"APT." was also nominated at the Grammys, for Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.

Rosé dropped her debut solo album "Rosie" in December 2024. It includes the songs "Number One Girl" and "Toxic 'Till the End."

Meanwhile, Blackpink brought their Deadline World Tour to the Philippine Arena in November 2025.

The group made a comeback in February with the EP, "Deadline."
