BIGBANG to mark comeback with 20th anniversary world tour this 2026

K-pop group BIGBANG is set to stage their much-awaited comeback with a global tour this year in celebration of their 20th anniversary.

The good news was announced by YG Entertainment founder and executive producer Yang Hyun Suk in a video posted via the agency's YouTube account on Tuesday.

"To get straight to the point, celebrating the 20th anniversary this year, we've agreed to hold a BIGBANG performance. I would like to announce that BIGBANG's global tour will kick off," said Yang in Korean and translated to English by the video-sharing platform.

"Because the artists and company have been working together for so long, I don't think [there'd] be any difficulties. All the YG staff will give their absolute best effort to produce the most perfect and beautiful BIGBANG performance," he added.

The world tour will reunite members G-Dragon, Taeyang, and Daesung. According to Yonhap News Agency Wednesday, BIGBANG leader G-Dragon had confirmed at a fan event in February that he would be staging a comeback.

The upcoming global tour marks the legendary K-pop group's comeback since the release of their single, "Still Life," in 2022.

The group is among the lineup of artists performing at Coachella 2026 this April.

BIGBANG debuted in 2006 under YG Entertainment and became one of South Korea's most popular groups of all time. BIGBANG originally comprised five members, but Seungri left the band in 2019 following his involvement in the Burning Sun Scandal. T.O.P., on the other hand, exited the group in 2023.
