Woman arrested after shooting at Rihanna's L.A. home
Rihanna was said to be home when a woman, armed with an AR-15-style rifle, drove up and started shooting at the Los Angeles residence she shares with ASAP Rocky and their children. The shooter was already taken into custody.
According to NBC News, the shooting was reported at 1:21pm. People Magazine meanwhile reports that investigators arrived at the scene at the same time.
Quoting the LA times, People adds "first responders can be heard saying 'approximately 10 shots' had been fired at the residence from a vehicle - a white Tesla — across the street."
As NBC says "four rounds of fragments hit parts of the property," local news station KTLA said at least one round pierced a wall of the residence.
No injuries were reported and it remains unclear if any else was with the pop star at the time of shooting.
Officers said the suspect was a woman in her 30s who allegedly fled the scene before being arrested without incident a short time later. Police recovered a weapon during the arrest, KTLA added.
Investigators are still determining a motive for the attack.
