'One Piece' live-action cast members share what they aspire for
In the anime "One Piece," the One Piece is the ultimate treasure that Monkey D. Luffy wants to find in his adventures.
So what is the One Piece or the ultimate wish of the "One Piece" live-action cast members?
In Lyn Ching's report on "24 Oras," Iñaki Godoy and the rest of the gang share the one thing they want to acquire, achieve, or aspire to be.
Iñaki himself, who plays Luffy, has a simple wish: "General reservation at Mexican restaurants."
Taz Skylar, who plays Sanji, initially said "money."
"Something that I aspire to be is somebody that my parents can be proud they made and somebody that my future son or daughter can be proud made them," he later said.
For Emily Rudd, who plays Nami, her One Piece is not just for herself but for everyone.
"If there was a way for everyone in the world to have everything they want and need, and the joy that they deserve," she said.
Jacob Romero said he wants to feel gratitude at the end of their "One Piece" journey.
"You might not always make the right decisions, there might be things you could have done better, but I do think that at the end of it all, just to be filled with gratitude for how the journey played out and the people that you met along the way, the memories, the experiences—that would be the ultimate 'One Piece,'" the Usopp actor said.
Netflix's "One Piece" adapts Eiichiro Oda's legendary manga that follows Straw Hat Pirates captain Monkey D. Luffy in his quest to find the ultimate treasure, the One Piece, and become King of the Pirates.
