Following Heeseung’s departure, ENHYPEN writes appreciation message for fans

Enhypen penned a heartfelt message for their beloved fans following Heeseung’s departure from the group.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), the six-member group addressed their fandom, known as Engene, acknowledging the shock many felt after the announcement.

“I bet you were really shocked seeing today's announcement, Engene. I was most worried about what Engene would think,” the group wrote in Korean, translated into English by X.

The members emphasized how important their fans are to them, saying that Enhypen has always existed for Engene and that seeing fans worry or struggle over the news is painful for the group.

Despite the sudden change, the group expressed respect and support for Heeseung’s decision.

“The time we've spent together up until now is precious beyond words.  That's why we respect and support Heeseung hyung's choice and the new beginning that we've shared all this time,” they said.

The group also assured fans that they will continue to grow and work harder moving forward.

“To ease Engene’s worries even a little and create happy days for Engene every day, we Enhypen will grow even more from now on,” they said, promising to become a stronger and more confident Enhypen for their fans.

Enhypen concluded their message by thanking their supporters for their unwavering love and encouragement.

“We're always thankful and we love you, Engene,” the group ended.

Heeseung’s departure from Enhypen was announced on Tuesday.

"Through in-depth discussions with each of the members about the future they envision and the direction of the team, it became clear that Heeseung has his own distinct musical vision and we have decided to respect it," Belift Lab, their agency, said in a statement.

Following his departure, the K-pop star wrote a letter for his fans, expressing his gratitude.

Enhypen consists of members Jungwon, Heeseung, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo, and Ni-ki. Some of the group's hits include "Bite Me," "No Doubt," "Drunk-Dazed," "XO (Only If You Say Yes)," and more.

They made a music comeback in January 2026.

In March 2025, the boys brought their "Walk the Line" tour to the Philippine Sports Stadium in Bulacan. They were also in the country in December 2024 for their "Des7ined" fan meeting.
