Tom Holland embraces new era of Peter Parker in 'Spider-Man: Brand New Day' trailer

The trailer for "Spider-Man: Brand New Day" has been released!

On its social media pages, the hit movie franchise shared the trailer which showed the return of its lead star Tom Holland as Peter Parker.

Set four years after the memory-wiping events of "Spider-Man: No Way Home," the trailer opens with Peter living in a cramped apartment. Instead of his high-tech suit, Peter wears a suit that looks hand-stitched and battle-worn.

It also featured a scene where he meets MJ (Zendaya) in a party, but she is oblivious to his existence following the memory-wiping.

As Peter navigates through his life as a hero, he seeks help from Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo) to transform to the superhero he was once.

Earlier, the first teaser for the upcoming "Spider-Man" film was revealed piece by piece through a global fan campaign announced by Tom on Instagram. The campaign included entries from Peru, Ohio, Mexico and Singapore, among others.

The last Spider-Man film was the 2021 blockbuster movie "Spider-Man: No Way Home."

"Spider-Man: Brand New Day" is slated for release on July 31.
