Netflix reveals full live-action 'Scooby-Doo' cast
Netflix has officially unveiled the full cast of its upcoming live-action “Scooby-Doo” series, building on the earlier announcement of McKenna Grace as Daphne Blake.
On Thursday, the streaming platform announced that McKenna will be joined by Tanner Hagen as Shaggy Rogers, Abby Ryder Fortson as Velma Dinkley, and Maxwell Jenkins as Fred Jones.
Together with their very special dog, the Mystery gang will tackle the series’ central mysteries, offering a fresh look at how these iconic teens first came together.
The series is executive produced by Josh Appelbaum, Scott Rosenberg, Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter, Leigh London Redman (via Berlanti Productions), André Nemec, Jeff Pinkner, and Adrienne Erickson (via Midnight Radio).
Toby Haynes will direct the premiere episode.
Netflix announced the live-action adaptation of "Scooby-Doo" last year with eight episodes.
Created in 1969, "Scooby-Doo" follows the adventures of teenagers Fred, Daphne, Velma, and Shaggy, and their Great Dane, Scooby-Doo. Together, they form the crime-solving gang, Mystery Inc. —Carby Rose Basina/JCB, GMA Integrated News
