Miley Cyrus reunites with 'Hannah Montana' cast for 20th anniversary celebration

It was a full-circle moment for Miley Cyrus as she graced the “Hannah Montana” 20th anniversary special.

On Instagram, the Grammy Award-winning singer shared snaps from the premiere night, where she reunited with fellow cast members Jason Earles, Ana Maria Perez de Tagle, Moises Arias, Cody Linley, and Shanica Knowles.

“Standing with Jason, Moises, Cody, Ana Maria, and Shanica, the cast I grew up with was a full-circle moment I’ll never forget,” Miley wrote.

“We found our way back home, and it felt so good. Thank you for growing up with us. We love you. This special is from me to younger you,” she added.

 

 

On her Instagram account, Filipino actress Anna Maria Perez de Tagle also posted snaps from the premiere and said the show will "always be iconic."

"I’m so grateful to have been a part of something that meant so much to your childhood," Ana Maria added. "I hope the magic keeps living on for generations to come!"

"Hannah Montana" first aired on Disney Channel on March 24, 2006. The sitcom follows teenager Miley Stewart who leads a double as a famous pop star.

It was Miley's breakout role. As Hannah Montana, she became iconic for hits like "The Best of Both Worlds," "Nobody's Perfect," "If We Were A Movie," and many more. In 2009, Walt Disney Pictures released "Hannah Montana: The Movie."

Miley went on to release hits under her own name, such as "Party in the USA," "Wrecking Ball," "We Can't Stop," and "Angels like You." At the 66th Grammy Awards, Miley's hit single "Flowers" earned her two trophies: Record of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance. She also starred in the 2010 film "The Last Song."

The “Hannah Montana" 20th Anniversary Special, premiered on Disney+ on March 24.
