Heeseung, formerly of Enhypen, starts solo era as Evan

Heeseung, a former member of the K-Pop group Enhypen, begins his solo journey with a new name: Evan.
On the website of music label BeLift Lab, they described Evan as “a versatile vocalist defined by a trendy, sophisticated tone.” They added that as a member of Enhypen, he impressed with “his seamless vocals and polished stage presence.”
“Having consistently showcased his creative range through songwriting and production, he is now poised to define a new chapter as a solo artist,” BeLift Lab said.
“The name ‘EVAN’ captures an alternate dimension of his identity and represents the essence of his musical artistry. Through this persona, he aims to share a sound shaped entirely by his own unique color and emotional depth," the agency added.
Evan also launched his solo Instagram account, @h_evva_n. He marked his first post, sharing close-up shots of his eye, wrist, hand, and elbow, as well as a short clip of him gazing intently into the camera.
Heeseung's departure from Enhypen was announced on March 10. In a statement, BeLift Lab reaffirmed that he will not be returning to the group.
Following his departure, the K-pop star wrote a letter to fans expressing his gratitude.
