BINI brings P-pop to Coachella with historic debut
BINI just made history as the first Filipino and P-pop girl group to perform at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in California.
On Saturday morning (PHT), the girls graced the famous festival’s Mojave stage, bringing a vibrant showcase of Filipino talent to one of the world’s biggest music festivals.
The group opened strong in striking golden outfits, each member wearing a modern take on the traditional salakot. Moments later, they shifted into ocean-like blue ensembles, matching the high-energy flow of their set.
BINI delivered a packed lineup of fan favorites, seamlessly blending upbeat choreography and live vocals.

Their setlist included “Shagidi,” “Zero Pressure,” and “Out of My Head,” before transitioning into crowd-hyping hits like “Karera” and “Salamin, Salamin.”
They kept the momentum going with “Blink Twice” and “Cherry on Top,” then closed with a powerful run of “Blush,” “Bikini,” and their global hit “Pantropiko.”
BINI will also perform on the second weekend of Coachella on April 17 (April 18 in the Philippines).
After Coachella, BINI will perform at the Grammy Museum in Los Angeles, California for Grammy Studios' "Global Spine Live!" series on April 21 (April 22 in the Philippines). —Carby Rose Basina/KG, GMA News
